NHMRC Early Career Fellowship awarded

On 9 November the Minister for Health Sussan Ley has announced the Results of the 2015 NHMRC Grant Application Round. This included Anna’s 3 year project entitled: “Next-generation glioblastoma multiforme therapies based on multistage delivery nanovectors”.

She has developed a novel porous silicon nanocarrier platform with tuneable shape that can efficiently deliver chemotherapy drugs to cancer cells. She will undertake her 3 year Peter Doherty Biomedical ECF at University of South Australia in 2016.
