Welcome Foroogh!
Foroogh was raised in Shiraz, Iran, and after completion of her Bachelor’s Degrees in Applied Chemistry and English Language Translation, she moved to Isfahan University of Medical Sciences to do her Master’s in Medicinal Chemistry. In addition to completing organic synthesis and pharmaceutical sciences subjects, she conducted a research project during her master’s studies and it was published as a research paper entitled “Novel Catechol Derivatives of Arylimidamides as Antileishmanial Agents” in 2018. She is currently undertaking her PhD, working on biosensors as an interdisciplinary project at Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) and Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication (MCN).
