Welcome Zhang!
Changhe received his PhD degree in organic chemistry on enantioselective organocatalysis at Monash University in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. David Lupton. Then he had worked in the groups of A/Prof. Georgina Such at the University of Melbourne and Prof. Michael Monteiro at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) of the University of Queensland on drug delivery and antimicrobial materials as postdoctoral research fellows.
He spent a brief period of time with Prof. Elizabeth Gillies as a visiting scholar on self-immolative polymers at Western University in Canada in 2019. In 2023, he joined the group of Prof. Nicolas Voelcker at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Monash University. Changhe is interested in using synthetic toolboxes to solve problems in materials science. Particularly, changhe is a fan of guanidines and self-immolative linkers/polymers.
