Welcome Peije!

Peije Russell is a PhD candidate at Monash University under the supervision of Prof. Nicolas Voelcker, Prof. Christoph Hagemeyer and Dr. Lars Esser. He received his bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science with Honours in 2020 from the same university, during which he received multiple awards, including the Formulation Science Award. His research focuses on the development of theranostic nanoparticles for cardiovascular diseases, with a specific focus on the treatment and diagnosis of thrombosis. His research is currently supported by an AINSE Postgraduate Research Award (PGRA), and previously by an AINSE Honours Scholarship.
