SARS-CoV 2 Virus Detection

Our group is conducting an exciting research on COVID detection!!

Amane and her colleague are developing an electrochemical biosensor for SARS-CoV 2 Virus Detection. They create a porous membrane where the pores act as nanochannels and bioreceptors such as antibodies are immobilised on the inner surface of the channels. This platform was incubated with a target analyte such as virus (COVID-19). These analytes block the nanochannels in the presence of the bioreceptors, and this can be detected by monitoring changes in electrochemical signals before and after exposure.
