Welcome Parham
Parham commenced his PhD in December 2017 and joined Prof. Nico Voelcker’s group in Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS), Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Parkville campus, Monash University. Herein, His research will focus on silicon based drug delivery systems for possible applications in immune-modulation and cancer therapy, under the supervision of Dr. Tong.
Parham finished his Master of Science in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology from Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Tehran, Iran in 2012. At the same time, he was a research assistant at the research center for Nanostructured and advanced materials (RCNAM) at SUT working on nanoparticle-reinforced nanocomposites and their mechanical/Physical properties. Since late 2014, he joined Prof. Mahdi Karimi’s Advanced Nanobiotechnology & Nanomedicine Research Group (ANNRG) in Iran University of Medical Science, Tehran, Iran to research in nanomedicine and smart drug delivery systems. Afterwards, since February 2016 he became a research assistant in Research Center for Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology (RCPN), Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz, Iran, working on nano-particle based carriers for anticancer drug delivery systems. Eventually, he found Australia as an amazing place, as his next destination, to survey his scientific interests.
