New paper & cover image in Chemical Communications
Taryn and colleagues work in Chemical Communications has been highlighted in the recent issue with a cover image. In their work, desorption ionisation on porous silicon mass spectrometry imaging (DIOS-MSI) was used to map the distribution of molecules in fingerprint sweat. This offers a proof-of-principle of the technique’s potential to detect illicit drugs and their metabolites for forensic and workplace testing.
